How it works
- A subframe is built on top of your existing ceiling joists. This can be done with adjustable beams or a unique system of supports.
- This subframe creates a raised platform, leaving a gap between the joists and the new flooring.
- The full depth of your loft insulation can be installed underneath this platform, up to the recommended government standard of around 270mm.
- Loft boards are then fixed onto the top of the subframe, creating a strong and level floor for storage.
